Baby Care

Small beginnings, big discoveries

Our Baby Section is designed for children from 3 to 20 months. Natural light and fresh air help make it a happy, welcoming place for little ones to spend their day.

There’s time for rest, comfort, songs and play. Soft toys, rattles and sensory activities invite babies to reach, move, listen and discover the world around them. Our dedicated space has controlled access, and the team cares for each baby with attention to their individual needs and routines.

We know leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. We want you to feel that your little one is welcomed, cared for and celebrated through every tiny milestone.

Around 20 Months to 3 years

Toddlers

For little feet with big plans

The toddler years are full of “I want to do it!” moments. At Bollie, children around 20 months to approximately 3 years have their own bright, welcoming spaces to explore as they grow.

There’s a place for art, activities and meals together; a cosy playmat area for group time and movement; and an early-learning space filled with puzzles and age-appropriate toys. Outside, toddlers can enjoy fresh air and active play in their own playground.

We make room for rest, messy masterpieces, new friendships and all the practice that comes with becoming more independent. When it’s time for potty training, we support each child with patience and work alongside their family.

Every new word, brave try and proud little grin is part of the adventure.

Ages 3 to 6

Nursery School

Big adventures for growing minds

At Bollie, the nursery school years are filled with stories, questions, creativity and the joy of discovering “I can do it!” Our eight classes give children an age-appropriate place to learn, play and make friends.

  • ๐ŸŽ’ Age 3 ยท Grade RRRR — The Zebras and The Otters
  • ๐ŸŽ’ Age 4 ยท Grade RRR — The Lions and The Meerkats
  • ๐ŸŽ’ Age 5 ยท Grade RR — The Giraffes and The Hippos
  • ๐ŸŽ’ Age 6 ยท Grade R — The Ellies and The Rhinos

Inside, children gather for circle time, explore hands-on learning activities and build new skills together. Outside, there’s room for big-body play: climbing, swinging, riding bikes, digging in the sand and enjoying the fresh air.

As children grow, we help them develop confidence, independence and a strong foundation for primary school—while making sure there’s still plenty of time to be wonderfully little and make memories to last a lifetime.

Grades 1 โ€“ 7

After-Care

A happy landing after the school bell

After a busy day at primary school, children need a place where they can relax and feel at ease. Bollie after-care welcomes learners from Grades 1 to 7 with a cooked lunch, homework assistance in English and Afrikaans, supervised play and time with friends.

For many Bollie bunnies, the move from nursery school to primary school is made a little easier because their Bollie journey doesn’t have to end. They return to familiar faces, friendships and surroundings for after-care—making Bollie their home away from home, even as they begin an exciting new chapter. Our dedicated Bollie buses collect children from selected local primary schools and bring them safely to Bollie. After-care children have their own playground, separate from the younger children’s areas, and are supervised throughout the afternoon. Parents collect them from Bollie at the end of the day.
